Allelon House- Intentional Christian Community
The Allelon House consists of a group of students who live with one another in intentional Christian community and live under a common rule of life. They spend time sharing meals, serving and praying together, encouraging and challenging one anther, and just having fun together.
A rule of life is a covenant that guides how students will live with one another and engage one another. It includes, but is not limited to, how often students will pray and eat together, how they will deal with conflict, a commitment to service and hospitality, and a commitment to building up one another in prayer, work, and common life, as a witness to God's glory and in submission to Christ's body.
Students within the Allelon House share food, space, and some financial matters. They also take a 1.5 hour CVOC (306) class about community and Christian life which is arranged around the schedules of the community members.
